Pokemon GO has officially announced the details for March 2025’s Community Day. On Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Feucoco, the Fire Croc Pokemon will be getting the spotlight as the featured Community Day Pokemon. Read below to see what the event has in store for players.
Event Duration
Start: Saturday, March 8, 2025, 2:00 p.m. local time
End: Saturday, March 8, 2025, 5:00 p.m. local time
Event Bonuses
Players can look forward to the following bonuses during the event:
- 3X Stardust for catching Pokemon.
- 2x Candy for catching Pokemon.
- 2x chance to receive Candy XL from catching Pokemon (Level 31+)
- Lure Modules last for three hours.
- Incense last for three hours (excluding Daily Adventure Incense).
- Special bonus for snapshots taken during Community Day.
- Special Trade daily limit increased to two as long as trades are completed from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.
Event Spawn
Fuecoco will appear more frequently during the event.
Featured Attack and Availability Update
Evolving Crocalor (Fuecoco’s Evolution) during the event or up to a week afterward will yield a Skeledirge that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
- Blast Burn
- Trainer Battles: 110 power
- Gyms and raids: 120 power
Additionally, starting with the event and continuing afterward, Skeledirge will be able to learn the Charged Attack Torch Song.
- Torch Song
- Trainer Battles: 70 power and increases the user’s Attack by one stage
- Gyms and raids: 100 power
Paid Special Research
For US$2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), Trainers can access the Fuecoco Community Day–exclusive Special Research. Completing this research offers rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, additional Fuecoco encounters, and three encounters with Fuecoco featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Tickets are nonrefundable, and gifting options are available for friends at the Great Friends level or higher.
Special Background Timed Research
Logging in during March Community Day grants access to Timed Research lasting a week post-event. This research awards an encounter with a Fuecoco that has a Seasonal Special Background and increases the chance of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco. Evolving Crocalor during this week will result in a Skeledirge knowing Blast Burn. Note that this Timed Research expires on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
Field Research
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available, offering rewards like Stardust, Great Balls, additional Fuecoco encounters, and more. Exploring with your community may lead to Field Research encounters with Fuecoco featuring a Seasonal Special Background.
Event Bundles
Two Community Day bundles will be available during the event.
For 1,350 PokeCoins, Trainers can acquire 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, five Lucky Eggs, and an Elite Charged TM.
For 480 PokeCoins, Trainers will receive 30 Ultra Balls, one Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
